# Edition 08 — complete creative-reference integration

## Scope and revision contract

Integrate the completed reference from the repository. The exact source commit is assigned in the external append-only delivery receipt after source creation; use that pin and this folder:

The source branch is `docs/complete-reference-08-20261008`. Branch availability, source commit, Website test commit, product deployment and report-only revisions are distinct. This maintainer has not merged main or published the Website. No ZIP is supplied or required.

Accepted baseline: Edition 07 source `f46b08d724def14e3e189915757324acc2c05ce3`, delivery `1154ad7f5c58c8cb8885edf5e34a48b2689cf5a9`, Website report `a3ccfbcd3295b9d3cafdc22cecf376ec9a60aa24`. SRC07-F01 closeout `7e72a8ffdfd92983fa41efd0847b547264dbfed4` was an available, unmerged source branch at captured main. The current verifier states its own scope accurately; historical executions remain unchanged.

## What is complete

The manifest and generated delivery fields are the authoritative counts. The complete edition contains 110 chapters, 244,281 narrative words, 444 visual identities and 76 future development briefs. All 75 earlier chapters and 102 earlier visual identities remain preserved. The 342 added visuals comprise 151 selected generated concepts, 160 editable diagrams and 31 unchanged published assets.

The historical 1,076-view checklist retains every original field and adds individually reasoned dispositions: 1,069 reference complete; seven conditional/unselected. These are substantive reference judgments, not production-asset counts or final user approvals. Current coverage, its full source receipts and preserved supersessions are in `current_visual_coverage_08.json`.

## Reader incorporation

Preserve the complete source edition unchanged as an immutable snapshot. Publish an edition-specific derived reader through the established Reference workflow; retain prior editions and stable links. The new reader already supplies persistent navigation, current section/follow controls, mobile focus management, search, related subject entrances, comparisons, the visual catalogue, full-size originals, review notes/export, theme, print and explicit later-story reveals.

The final reader corrects the accessible level of 85 direct inherited subheadings and enlarges 29 material-reference table links. `reader_markup_corrections_08.json` permits only the exact heading attribute change; 3,274 other earlier source spans, all canonical text and all prior payloads remain exact. The 38 genuinely nested approved H4 headings keep their original level. Preserve these reader corrections when deriving the Website edition.

Retain the distinction between current completion notices and historical pending introductions. Do not remove earlier source text merely because a current summary supersedes its dated status. Use the eight configured source families and anchor map instead of reconstructing mappings by title or filename guesses.

Public Worlds/Systems summaries may be expanded where the completed direction adds useful explanations. The programme does not require a separate redesign of the endorsed public homepage, Worlds or Systems presentation. Preserve protected launcher behavior and existing truthful maturity labels.

## Artwork and approval

Use original selected artwork and normalized exports from this source. REF03, CD05-A03 and the endorsed published assets remain style authorities. Maintain substantial Minecraft geometry, rich weathered pixel materials, atmospheric lighting, readable machinery and distinctive environments. Avoid photoreal microdetail and pristine toy-like simplification.

`figures_08.json` records selected purposes, panels, source IDs, limitations and hashes. The generation index links prompts, retained attempts, rejected outputs, historical exceptions and review records. Some historical verbatim prompts/reference lists were lost in workspace resets; their ledgers say so explicitly. Recovered intent summaries are not exact prompt recovery.

All new selections remain maintainer-selected candidates, not automatic final user approval. Website derivatives require their existing source-to-derivative record and cannot silently replace canonical source art. This handoff requests integration of supplied artwork; it grants no new Website image programme.

## Qualifications that must survive

- Keep creative approval, implementation and verification separate. Concept drawings do not prove engineering fit or balanced numeric recipes.
- Explorer simultaneous occupied fit, cargo/vehicle transport, material equivalence, numerical specifications and technical APIs require the listed future evidence.
- CEC01 remains conditional/unselected. The geological Mars campaign is complete without it.
- Conditional visual IDs are `HUL02-SEP`, `HUL05-SEP`, `HUL06-SEP`, `CEC01-FORM`, `CEC01-HAB`, `CEC01-ACT` and `FAM01-X`.
- Preserve the finite campaign roster. Other atlas bodies receive their limited documented context, not invented campaigns.
- Game authority remains `a0a702c2b5788d099645ab55ad23d8a5bf45c137`; launcher authority remains `e2a7137a53a1737166158d8dee59ca2137d2d64c` at the accepted pin. Smelt remains unbuilt. Inspect any later accepted authority before making current implementation claims.
- Preserve the 672-level/15 implemented depth-biome distinction from historical 512-level material and 35 creative Earth experiences.
- Shader-off policy, development maturity, simulated downloads, manual synchronization and no game BUILD remain.
- Preserve SRC06-F01–03/R1 closures and SRC07-F01's historical-versus-current execution distinction.

## Evidence and required Website work

Read current `verification_08.json`, `browser_verification_08.json`, `completion_receipt_08.json`, `evidence_inventory_08.json` and `release-evidence/`. Their exact hashes and execution environments govern claims; a prior reported pass whose raw files were lost is retained as history only.

The closeout retains a Lighthouse timeout that an earlier harness incorrectly reported as PASS, a refused local-server preflight, and a subsequent completed audit that found heading-order and target-size issues. The guards and reader were corrected, and fresh exact-byte gates determine the final status. See `release-evidence/lighthouse_false_pass_correction_08.json` and the attempt history; do not describe the whole process as an uninterrupted clean pass. Individual large raw JSON logs are losslessly stored as `.json.gz`, with original-byte and stored-byte hashes in `release-evidence/large_log_encodings_08.json`. This is evidence encoding, not a delivery archive.

Run the Website's normal source-preservation, mapping, content, link, anchor, artwork and applicable release gates. Check its derived reader and changed summaries with responsive, keyboard and accessibility work. The maintainer's source and local reader checks are not production Website evidence.

The accepted Edition 07 Website report records seven local gates and 1,036 production resource/redirect/identity checks after retained CRLF-crosswalk and dirty-build-preflight failures. It is not an uninterrupted clean pass. Tested `89c871f04c84fef5d51a33ea4e9ff19545863e49`, deployed product `6127f647c014dda7dfebbab85332bef9692207cc`, and record finalization `a12cbdc637dc1a0085b086eac030f599127fe68c` retain separate roles.

GitHub Actions was unavailable in that report. Independent full Website desktop/mobile UI review, performance, Firefox/WebKit and broader game/native QA remained NOT RUN. This source's bounded visual/reader reviews do not convert those into passes. Record any later work with its own revision and evidence.

## Return report

Use the established append-only incorporation report and paired summary JSON. Identify exact consumed source, tested Website, deployed product and report-only commits; mapped chapters/visuals and changed public summaries; source/derivative artwork; actual gates and retained failures/retries; current production evidence; unresolved limitations; and only evidence-supported source correction IDs.

Return a concise paste-ready prompt for the documentation maintainer to record incorporation and handle any supported correction. Do not request another broad source audit, automatic synchronization, duplicate archive, game BUILD or unrelated public redesign.
