"text": "P03 completes the remaining Moon documentation around the established DST01 destination. MO-EXP-01, “The first tube and the view home,” is already a complete worked expedition in LE05-PLAN-01–15. That treatment retains its arrival, independent refuge, Hollow-to-Gallery route, samples, interruption, Earth return and useful workshop application. This supplement credits that work and develops the two later expeditions, all five regions, the Rim Observatory and practical local industry.\n\nThe governing sources are MO-PLAN-01–11, MO-EXP-01–03, lunar_expedition_05.txt and its register, and CD05-T07. Existing regional and material identities remain unchanged. New C06-P03 identifiers identify additional treatment, not replacement destinations. All described behaviour is proposed game design; no generation, machine, mission, habitat or travel implementation has been verified here. Quantities, dimensions, route durations, yields and recipes remain unresolved or proposed until tested in the project.\n\nThe Moon remains lifeless and exposed. Rock cover alone never makes a cave breathable. First arrival and its independent return use imported equipment and supplies; lunar materials, a lunar landing pad, refinery and locally produced oxygen cannot be prerequisites. Later industry improves convenience and construction choice without retrospectively becoming a first-trip requirement. The visual direction uses Minecraft-scale blocks, pixel-readable materials and the confirmed equipment family. Atmospheric light may enrich the scene; photoreal grains, powders and polished product renders do not define its materials."

"text": "The five regions form connected geological experiences rather than five uniform horizontal bands. A crater shoulder can contain a shallow Hollow above a sweeping Gallery, while a Glassfall fracture meets that Gallery laterally. Earthrise Rim and Shadow Basin can interleave along the same surface journey. Their distribution should explain entrances, terrain clues and contrasting activities while retaining meaningful uncertainty.\n\nGeneration first reserves campaign opportunities and the access relationships they require, then applies local variation. The protected starter envelope retains the landing shelf, refuge pocket, walking inspection, achievable descent, initial glass opportunity and viable return documented in LE05-R01–06. Later envelopes reserve two useful observation viewpoints with at least one feasible relay solution, and a supported route into a deeper glass-bearing area. None guarantees a completed bridge, powered instrument or prebuilt workshop.\n\nRoute validation distinguishes a suited walker, a person carrying an instrument, and bulky workshop cargo. A walkable crack does not silently count as a machine delivery corridor. Later construction can improve an otherwise conservative route; required equipment must also have a supported staged or carried approach. A secondary exit stays a candidate until surveyed in both directions. Optional geometry can be difficult without moving the only practical return beyond available equipment.\n\nReview variants include a broad and a constrained rim approach, shallow and terraced shadow pockets, braced and bypassed Hollows, single and braided Galleries, and inclined and tall Glassfall chambers. Each must preserve recognizable foreground cues under ordinary game lighting. These are authored design cases, not a claim that particular seeds have passed runtime checks. Unusual traces are optional observations with their own recorded status, never a substitute for geological route information."

"text": "The later Rim experience begins at the same recognizable homeward approach. The refuge light, Explorer stance and saddle have become familiar; farther broken ridges now invite deliberate surveying. A crescent ridge variant emphasizes a long lateral walk, overlapping crater bowls present competing sightlines, and a stepped outer shoulder offers separate pedestrian and future freight approaches. Each keeps a usable shelf for stopping and inspecting the next route.\n\nA full regional outing prepares an observation load at the refuge, checks the near viewpoint, surveys one candidate instrument stance and returns with an obstruction record. The useful choice is whether a dramatic high site justifies extra access construction or a lower, easier site already performs the measurement. Height alone cannot make a location mechanically superior. The construction preview names support, service reach and the actual observable sector.\n\nCommon regolith collection remains available away from critical structures. Marked collection patches distinguish construction feedstock from preserved geological specimens. No narrow ridge is carpeted with gleaming ore. Later, a panel-lined service threshold or instrument plinth makes that collected material's purpose visible without transforming the Moon into a metallic showroom.\n\nRepeat value comes from a different view, improved approach, another observation baseline or a player-designed place to watch Earth. The Rim Observatory adds a recognizable silhouette while its accessible stairs, instrument position and map station remain understandable at block scale. Its optional viewing room cannot be the price of completing an essential observation."

"text": "A Shadow Basin outing starts with a bright boundary behind the player and a visible enclosing slope ahead. The floor is quiet, with slumped shelves, block groups and scattered reflective route markers. A shallow pocket offers a gradual crossing; a terraced bowl trades distance for dependable footing; linked dark hollows create a sequence of exposed crossings separated by recognizable ridges. Darkness changes what preparation is useful without concealing every usable surface.\n\nThe player first carries a light survey load. They identify the return terrace, place two-way markers, test proposed anchor sites and record a safe equipment cache. Thermal and electrical demand is communicated through the established suit and field interfaces. A rock overhang is a navigational pause with only its explicitly supported environmental benefit; it supplies no air, charge or invisible protection.\n\nThe larger activity is moving an observation instrument through the route the player has prepared. A shorter shelf crossing competes with a longer margin that has better standing positions. Both choices remain legible in the journal as surveyed facts. An unavailable connection reports terrain obstruction or missing equipment rather than merely showing a red icon.\n\nReturning follows familiar lights in reverse. Subsequent visits can improve a handoff point, retrieve a cache, inspect an additional viewpoint or use the crossing to reach another region. The dark terrain beyond the maintained route remains spacious and uncertain. There are no invented lunar predators or atmospheric dust storms to supply artificial interruption."

"text": "Hollows retain their cramped compressed shelves, impact fragments and short vertical breaks. After the first expedition, a second hollow can offer a different proportion of competent rock and loose material: adjacent low cavities for surveying, a small extraction bay, or an overlooked connection toward a Gallery roof opening. Familiarity should help players read those clues while the actual route remains locally distinct.\n\nA repeat visit takes a probe, ordinary collection tools, compatible braces where required, and a sample container. The player inspects a designated working face, establishes a return-safe stance, preserves a specimen and separately collects an accepted processing allocation. They then label the face and its access restrictions before returning. Specimen quality comes from the defined collection action, not from doubling the output of bulk excavation.\n\nA signalled local slump can stop optional extraction. The response is to isolate that face, use a surveyed bypass or leave a work note. It cannot collapse the protected starter exit, propagate into a habitat or turn every ordinary block into an unpredictable hazard. A later cargo improvement must preserve emergency pedestrian access and the useful geological character of the passage.\n\nThe enduring reward is dependable small-scale access. A well-lit brace and an intelligible junction can remain valuable when the player owns larger machines. Industrial progression need not erase the careful route that first taught them how the Moon works."

A braided network invites route comparison around an intact central wall. Joined chambers at different levels make a freight path a separate construction problem. Multiple roof openings provide recognizable landmarks and possible future exits.\n\nThe occupied-gallery sequence begins with surveying a stable construction shelf. The player checks the approach, a place to turn carried equipment, room for the intended enclosure and a clear retreat around it. They then commission a bounded sealed module using the established Lunar Shelter Controller system. Only the actual functioning enclosure advertises breathable conditions; the surrounding Gallery remains vacuum even when warmly lit.\n\nThe first useful extension can be a service cell and stores. A later workroom connects a material preparation point, repair surface and product rack while keeping dirty handling outside the occupied clean area where the supported equipment requires it. Visible service connections and reachable shutoffs explain the workshop better than an oversized glowing reactor. No decorative duct supplies a capability absent from the service record.\n\nA player can stop after making a reliable place to rest and sort specimens. An industrial player can add a bounded line, cargo lane and observation window. Both preserve the tube's natural scale. Returning through an immense dark chamber toward the same compact warm room is the regional payoff."

"text": "Glassfall is geological glass in rock: folded seams, hanging fragments, polished fractures and ledges. Pixel-scale inclusions and a few controlled highlights distinguish it from basalt. An inclined fracture emphasizes supported lateral movement; a tall chamber emphasizes choosing a safe instrument stance; a seam crossing separated rooms invites comparison of connected exposures. Constant glow and photoreal crystal detail would erase that distinction.\n\nThe regional activity positions a light and instrument, identifies a continuous seam, records the actual visible relation and selects an accessible sampling face. A route cue remains visible when a reflection changes. Gloss cannot make a drop appear to be a safe floor. Large hanging forms have explicit hazard silhouettes, and any interactive unstable feature follows the bounded local rules used elsewhere.\n\nCareful sampling can preserve an unusual specimen; separately accepted feedstock supports PM02 Lunar Glass Filament. The collection record distinguishes source, intended processing allocation and protected display material. Neither a photograph nor a trace observation creates extra matter. A tiny attractive shard is not promised to yield every component in a workshop.\n\nThe deeper optional trace can compare a local observation with an existing Earth-depth record. It provides a question and a revisitable site, without establishing lunar inhabitants, mandatory ruins or a new survival ingredient. Completing the geological trip does not depend on finding that rare variant. Better collection routes, additional specimen forms and a personally chosen gallery base supply repeat value independently."

"text": "The Rim Observatory Controller grows through useful stages. First, a supported instrument stance and safe approach allow local readings. Next, protected equipment storage and a map station organize the record. Linked reflector or relay installations add the regional observation network. A viewing room and architectural finish extend the place after its principal service works.\n\nThe controller identifies the two natural viewpoints by what each can actually observe. It records candidate relay sites, verified connections and known obstructions. The player chooses a functional route among supported alternatives. No arbitrary decorative pedestal is mandatory merely because it looks attractive in a concept sheet. Alignment is a bounded interaction with a readable orientation preview, service condition and next corrective action.\n\nCommissioning separates construction, power, protection, alignment and observation. A completed mount awaiting an instrument is a useful construction checkpoint. A working local instrument with an obstructed onward connection retains its readings. A complete connected network awaits the participant-present observation state, without requiring a real astronomical timetable or a second player at a distant switch.\n\nThe completed mission improves confidence in the surveyed local region, preserves the observation record and leaves recognizable infrastructure in the landscape. It does not reveal all underground chambers or guarantee unlimited communication everywhere. Faults identify a specific cause and retain valid earlier contributions. The exact progression consequence belongs to the central technology plan; it cannot be invented here as a new gate to every later destination."

The player starts with their existing refuge record, mapped first approach and actual remaining stores. The default solo sequence permits several sorties within one visit or successive visits.\n\nEarth preparation replenishes breathing supply, compatible charged cells, protection, repair stock, food and independent return reserves. The manifest adds reflector and relay components, supported power connections, survey equipment, markers, anchors, protected instrument carrying and declared cache containers. These components come from previously reachable production. Lunar products may be optional improvements where the central catalogue permits them; they cannot circularly unlock the first relay route needed to obtain them.\n\nOn arrival, the player checks the same craft's landed return state and the refuge's actual commissioned services. Stock left on the previous trip is a recorded quantity, not a promise of a particular duration. The near viewpoint is inspected with a light load. The journal then compares the short exposed shelf and longer protected-margin approach, showing verified standing places, unresolved segments and the equipment-carrying restriction.\n\nBefore committing cargo, the player walks and returns from the chosen reconnaissance segment. The short segment establishes a trustworthy boundary for later work. A mission that can only succeed after carrying every instrument into unknown darkness would waste the very surveying capability the expedition is meant to teach."

The player inspects the same markers from the return direction. At the refuge, the route record now supports a conservative carrying plan: carry to the cache, inspect and secure the load, return for the next declared component, and continue when the complete next segment fits actual supplies. Solo staging substitutes for simultaneous team labour.\n\nInstallation begins at the near instrument and proceeds along verified sites. Each mount previews support and access; each connection states whether it is physically obstructed, unpowered, insufficiently protected or awaiting alignment. The far viewpoint closes the route's observation purpose. A successful connection does not automatically reveal hidden terrain beyond the surveyed sector.\n\nThe worked interruption is a blocked onward view after an instrument is installed. A rock shoulder obscures the intended next site. The instrument remains usable and its earlier reading stays recorded. The player can rotate within the supported range, move the next planned mount to a surveyed alternative, or return with a note that one further stance needs inspection. No instrument is consumed simply because an alignment fails. If field supply reaches its retreat threshold, the correct next action is the known return route.\n\nPartial progress has explicit value: marked segments remain marked, actual cached components remain in their containers, commissioned mounts retain their state and successful readings remain in the journal. An incomplete network is shown as incomplete. A later visit rechecks real local service and resumes the missing connection. A larger personal failure uses the established recovery association, with the existing visible cargo and supply consequences; it does not award a spare craft or free refill.\n\nOnce the network passes its service and alignment checks, the player starts the supported observation from the observatory. The response connects the two viewpoints, instrument feedback and a completed local record. The return through the marker chain is part of the mission, followed by refuge service, cargo review and the independent Earth flight.\n\nA separately declared regolith processing collection provides the material outcome. At Earth, an accepted batch can become PM01 insulating pieces for a selected workshop service threshold or thermal assembly, with actual supplemental fittings counted. Alternatively, supplied prior stock may finish an observatory component already planned. The diagram shows the process relationship without promising a yield from a token sample. The durable outcomes are a surveyed crossing, the functioning network, the chosen real application and a useful preparation record for another visit."

Completion does not require building that workshop. Earlier maps provide an approach, while their unvisited branches remain honestly unresolved.\n\nPreparation imports renewed expedition and return supplies, suitable anchors, protection, lights, survey instruments, careful sampling tools, named containers and repair stock. The modest-camp option includes the complete supported enclosure and service contents needed for its commissioned stage. The industrial option additionally declares the shared processing equipment, power, connections, fixtures and complementary inputs. A generic crate labelled “factory” cannot conceal an unlimited workshop.\n\nThe arrival review compares carrying capacity and actual route access. The selected Gallery choke is walked before bulky equipment moves. A short foot route with a cache can serve specimens; a wider detour, supported cargo transfer or later constructed crossing can serve heavier equipment. If the industrial route is still unsuitable, the specimen trip remains complete and useful with its own independent return.\n\nBefore descending, the player names the conservative objective and the limit of discretionary work: reach a supported Glassfall stance, record a seam, collect the planned allocation and return. Extending toward a candidate distant exit or committing a workshop is a later decision made from evidence at a safe point, rather than a surprise requirement after the deepest collection."

"text": "The approach passes the familiar Hollow junction and Gallery overlook, then takes a separately surveyed route around the cargo choke. At each transition, the journal distinguishes walking access from equipment access. The player establishes a protected working pause only if an actual commissioned enclosure and service stock support it. An unsealed equipment cache remains vacuum storage.\n\nIn Glassfall, the light is positioned to reveal both the ledge and the seam. The player surveys the standing area, identifies the safe sampling face, records the continuous exposure and takes the selected specimen. Processing material enters its own container. A preserved display fragment stays out of the production allocation. The player can stop with a complete scientific and material collection; a rare unusual trace is optional.\n\nThe worked interruption is an unsuitable carry route revealed by the loaded container and instrument together. The same narrow turn that was walkable is awkward for the combined load. The player returns to the established stance, separates the loads into supported trips, uses the verified wider route or leaves a recorded nonessential cache. They cannot solve it by clipping cargo through the rock. A bounded tool or fixture service problem uses the named replacement or postpones that operation while preserving the collected material.\n\nAt the safe Gallery site, the player chooses the return-only or workshop continuation. Returning now preserves the samples, route and future site record without a diminished mission result. The workshop continuation first commissions its imported shelter/service stage, then prepares the material area, connects the particular production capability and checks waste, storage and circulation. Real feedstock and complementary inputs support one demonstrated job. Decoration cannot commission oxygen or propellant production.\n\nThe proposed local job makes PM01 insulating or panel components for the selected enclosure extension, or PM02 stock for a defined light-guide or instrument application. The exact accepted recipe, quantity and quality requirement remain open. The source material is visibly transformed through shared equipment and transferred into a named application; it does not emerge automatically because the player placed a workshop controller.\n\nA candidate distant surface exit offers an optional final survey. It becomes a completed loop only after its connection, surface approach and return to the refuge are verified. If the exit is blocked or outside the current supply margin, the original marked route remains the planned way home. Unverified map lines stay candidates.\n\nReturn service unloads specimens and processed or unprocessed cargo into separate custody, records left stores and secures the working site. The same craft returns with its protected allocation. At the Earth workshop, PM02 can contribute to a compact light-guide or survey instrument component, paid for by the actual returned processing stock and ordinary fittings. The display specimen remains intact. Future visits can compare another seam, improve freight access, extend the occupied workshop or complete the alternate exit without replaying recorded success."

Its main value is processing bulky feedstock near collection, maintaining field equipment and producing components for a chosen lunar home. An explorer may instead bring feedstock to an existing Earth workshop. Both routes preserve the same material identities and actual custody.\n\nRegolith Ceramic, PM01, begins with identified common regolith. Collection is followed by screening and preparation, forming, and controlled firing through the established TEC02 capability with the relevant TEC08 material procedure. The selected output is a panel component, insulating piece or building form with a defined property. The central industry catalogue decides which shared station performs each stage; every process verb need not introduce a new machine. Rejected fractions need a named collection, reuse or disposal path.\n\nLunar Glass Filament, PM02, begins with accepted glass-bearing feedstock, distinct from preserved specimens. Sorting, controlled refinement and forming use the established powered workshop and TEC08 procedure. Light-guide stock or a selected instrument component then combines with its ordinary fittings. Processing inputs, fixtures and service parts must already be reachable or imported. Product labels record intended use and suitability without implying that every glass fragment has interchangeable quality.\n\nThe line's operating states are planned, supplied, ready, working, output-blocked, service-needed and parked. Each state identifies the next action. An empty feed container cannot start a job; a full output rack stops the affected operation coherently; missing power does not consume another completed product; a serviced fixture uses its declared part. Final interruption and conservation behaviour needs later implementation evidence.\n\nServices remain separate. A charged machine establishes electrical availability for its declared load. A functioning refuge provides its commissioned enclosure and stored-supply services. Breathing refill requires compatible actual supply and connections; local oxygen manufacture requires a separately documented reachable feed and capability. Propellant service likewise needs its own defined inputs and equipment. Neither is granted by a ceramics furnace, dark shelter, nearby rock or a decorative tank.\n\nProtected expedition and return allocations remain outside discretionary production. The operator sees available process stock and the reserves left after a proposed job. Local recovery of material cannot multiply conserved goods. Exact machine footprints, cycle rates, capacities, yields and supply thresholds remain proposals to resolve with the shared industry and Tier 1 specifications. The local line is complete as a design when its inputs, stages, useful output, physical access, blocked states and conservation rules are explicit."
